Talking is this normal?

i'm just a wee little noob, about to buy guildwars. and i found this site and started studying.
i used to play runescape, and did well, but i remember what noobyness was like.
i studied and searched and learned of many armers and the guild wars economy and i was in the middle of the dye guide when i had a thought
is it normal to just understand this? all these things that most people would just stare at me if i mentioned, just came so natraly to me.
it was almost scary for me, or at least creepy.
is this normal?

We all had to learn the game at some point... Takes time to learn stuff... Depends on the person how fast it goes.

I am sorry to say this, but yes this is normal, you dont have special powers to all of sudden understand games. GW can be compared somewhat to Runescape, so that could of helped, that and its not a very hard game to learn, it really walks you through it with pre and the n00b island.

Yeah this game isn't that hard to understand to be honest.

If you haven't bought it yet, I say do it. I'm loving the game, but some of the people *cough* are complete jerks. As each day goes on I run into more and more because I'm beginning to buy/sell things and actually talk/group with people.

Only complaint I have is how everyone gets their own "copy" of the world if they are not in a group. Seems alot like a single player game at times. But at least you're not fighting for mobs/camp spots like on my other MMO/MMORPG games I've played.

BUY it, add me IG if you'd like, add me to MSN whatever. I can probably help you out and I may be making a new toon soon (deleting my E/Mo, Emo, E-Mo, OMG YES I'm deleting it!) and making maybe a Ranger or Mesmer or something. Female mesmers look the best IMO, so I have to make one.

I use to know everything there was to know, what was hot, what was not so hot. Then one day I just stoped caring what other people thought and played by my own rules and builds. Overall learning the game is pretty easy, however enjoying it by other people's standards is not so easy. Even though it may be easy to learn don't bother reading up too much, you don't want to spend money on a game just to play it someone else's way, enjoy the game on your own terms.

To answer your question, yes it is normal, GW is really easy to learn.

Copy of Guild Wars: $50.
Learning how this game works: 2 hours (give or take).
Learning WHY this game works: priceless.

totally. i mean, if ppl like MB and myself, who've never played a mmog (or whatever they're called) before can learn to play the game and end up amassing incredible wealth within a short time, it can't be that hard, right? ... or are we exceptionally gifted?? O_o

ps. you're so not in evil, MB!

Being 'nub' doesn't matter. Sooner or later you'll learn the game.

I figured out how the dynamic economy of the game worked within a week. I've just never bothered with it.

I've just played on my own terms. I've never felt the need for huge amounts of cash and 15k armour (although my ranger has some ) most of the stuff I need, I get doing missions & quests. I prefer having fun doing missions with my friends & guildmembers than mindless farming, or trying to set up a trade system.
